Although he doesn't need the money, in view of the disgusting allegations against him I hope he sues.
I heard Monbiot issued a grovelling apology today but regardless if I was McAlpine, him and the Guardian would be going to court.
I find Bercow an odious little creature but I think she's going to be lucky as she is only guilty of asking why was McAlpine trending on Twitter.
This is going to be very interesting because Lord McAlpine rightly seems to be :censored: off and he has the money to take an awful lot of people to court.
