Despite scoreline young England team did ok and were unlucky to loose :icon_rolleyes:
I'm preferring this England team to the so called senior side:xxgrinning--00xx3:
Impressed by Ibrahimovic though and try to see his fourth goal-amazing:omg:

I think the 4th goal looked great. It was just one of those that could have gone anywhere.

I'm not a big footy fan, but I must admit that I'm glad I was able to witness that amazing goal by that Ibrahimovic bloke. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I see on TV they were comparing it with Rooney's goal.... however that was only about 10 yards out and chest height, and even Stevie Wonder could have scored that given the chance

But it went in the goal, and that is where the player meant it to go. A scissor kick is not easy, it is also dangerous, in theory any player doing one is supposed to be booked for having studs at head height. Lucky refs do have some common sense.
If you take level of difficulty between Rooney's and Ibrahimovic's goals, the latter is the more complex and difficult, simple as that. He had a much smaller target to aim at, at an angle, and the ball was abover head height. Rooney's had a much bigger target being pretty much head on to the goal.
Both goals are great, I'm not having a go at the players, but you can't say Rooney's was better, more accuracy and skill involved in Ibrahimovic's goal.

I could argue the fact that sometimes we aim at things and miss. But your the boss.:laugher:

Rooney goal was a better goal:biggrin:
Far harder to execute nearer to goal and keep it down in what was a far more important match.
When it's from further away it's easier as I have done it myself in local noddy league but not the Rooney one much harder.

No way . Last nights was a far better goal.
The only added difficulty with Shreks goal is that he had considerably more weight to get off the ground

Although both are overhead kicks they are both different kinds of goals. And therefore both deserve merit equally.
Beckam's wonder goal a few years back is not comparable to many that are executed a lot nearer goal. Different kind of skill required.

Seen lots of stuff like this in local Football:smile:
We had a centre forward who scored a good few goals from the kick off,He would just Zonk it towards goal and sometimes if on target and Keeper napping we scored:icon_lol:
The reason I think Rooney's goal is better was simply the Goalkeeper was on his line,it's harder nearer goal keeping the balls trajectory in line (if you notice sometimes in a free kick situation the ball is moved further away as it's harder to score when too near)
I'm not knocking his goal-I was the one who brought it up but still think Rooney's was a better goal and harder to execute:biggrin:
