Tory reply = shows she is tight fisted.

Labour reply = it's on expenses so she was protecting the taxpayers purse :Rasp:

Still being counted but I suspect a lot of the votes will come from the blinkered white stick brigade hoping for a return to the open door immigration policies of the Blair and Brown days conveniently ignoring its effect on British jobs, public services and culture :laugher:

I used to do alot of account work for the BBC and it always included an automatic gratuity credited to your account. Plenty of waste though. I remember being part of a 4 cab job to heathrow and the 4th driver said I havent got any passengers so one of the BBC people took a bag out of my Cab and put it in the 4th cab and said ok now follow us to terminal 4.
Most Generous celebrity I ever had and it pains me to say it Sir Alex Ferguson
Meanest is Ricky from Eastenders who tried to bid me down on the fare and when I wouldn't budge walked off and jumped into an illegal minicab.
Biggest waste of Public Money The Met Police I've had to pick translators up before and wait outside the Police Station until they finished and take them home or the Immigrant Charity who used to send a Taxi to pick the offender up at the police station and take them back to a hostel.
Also there are several charities who now wouldn't get a penny of my money because of the way they use Taxis

I think she was hated before she went to New York. I think the reason she went to New York was she knew she was onto a hiding. She had a very small majority so the writing was on the wall.
Trust me, if she had been sitting in a safe seat with a large majority she would still be there.

To be fair, at least he got dealt with unlike some of the freeloaders at Westminster. Give them all 9 months inside and £30,000 fines

A disgrace - if this is new evidence that's come up / or they can get him on another charge then he should be up in court again. I wonder what unknown self server who is soon to be Police Commissioner for Essex has to say about it.

Remember though that Govt Visa cards were issued by the sackload under Labour - I understand DEFRA have withdrawn many

Whilst "ordinary mortals" would feel it incumbent upon them to travel by whatever mode of public transport happens to be available in similar circumstances ... our politicians obviously deem themselves imbued with some sort of 'Divine Right' to do so at the expense of the public purse.

Interesting result. I expected labour to win easily. But UKIP in a comfortable third place well ahead of the Lib Dems. Not looking good for Cleggy. Interesting times ahead for the coalition I think.
