HElp/advice on divorce please

Hello
i have been married with my filipina wife for 3 years and for the last year its not been working
we have a 2 year old baby boy and i wanna file for a divorce but im afraid if i do she will have to leave the uk
evendo our son has dual nationality i dont want him to loose one of his parents

can anyone give me some advice please

I assume your wife has ILR status if this is so then she will not be asked to leave the uk......Is there no chance that you can both save the marriage? I'm sure all fil/ Brit marriages have there ups & downs just like any other marriage... If there is any chance if saving the marriage it must be worth saving just my two penneth worth

May I recommend that you both go to 'Relate'.

I wish my ex and I had done so.

You can also put a restraining order on your wife to prevent her removing the child from this country until proper custody procedures have been gone through...should it come to that.
