I don't bother with them in my area anymore as it tends to be extremely popular with the pikey community.

I must live in a pike community as all my neighbors have Christmas lights. Have never met a filipino that doesn't like to decorate their house at Christmas time.
Old joke. Whats the new shampoo for gypsies? Go and Wash!

Must admit i only had xmas lights on the outside of the house once, it was my birthday and we arranged to go for a few drinks with friends in my other life, and this was mid november, while we was out some friends had the key to our house and decorated the outside with a full size father xmas and fairy lights all over the house, what a sight greeted me when i walked round the corner back home:doh
