Congratulations to them.
I don't suppose there's any chance of an extra bank holiday to mark the birth of the future monarch.

If it's a boy they're calling it Stavros Klaus. They think it's only fitting seeing there's Greek and German in the bloodlines. :icon_lol:

Some of us are finding it hard to get our wives here because they are seen as a burden on the taxpayer. Sorry I am not happy about this.:cwm23:. I dont care for the royals in any way. Just my opinion.

I can understand and respect your opinion on the monarchy.
For me, this is a young couple who fell in love and find their lives highly restrictive in choices.
This couple and this baby will find themselves the most watched and reported ever.
They have the very same emotions and feelings as you or I.

Apparently ['scuse pun!] the Duchess was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London, suffering from acute morning sickness :vomit-smiley-011:... an obvious sign she's going through the same unpleasant experience as most other women in their early stages of pregnancy - except in Kate's case, her condition is most likely being not inconsiderably hampered by the fact that she is also the focus of (dare I say?) too much unwanted media attention :bigcry: - something I feel the cynics would do well to bear in mind.
Here's to a speedy recovery, ma'am! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

............. and far less fortunate than millions of others too.
Bit like millions of people..............always going to be some more fortunate and some less fortunate.

Another opinion. They are still a burden on the tax payer and always have been. Ok they help bring tourists here but tourists who get to see buckingham palace. They dont get to meet any of them. What else do they do?. Yes they are always in the spotlight but that is just the media. I would love to find out how much they cost us. (The true figure). Then we can make our minds up if they are worth it or not. Of course I wish the couple and their baby well just the same as I would do anyone on here too or anyone I know.

I don't agree. Being in the spotlight continuously might be a pain but they don't have to endure the struggles in life like the majority of people do. On top of that they've found love together, a gift that some don't find throughout their whole life. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
I actually quite like them as people, he's a nice humble guy and she's a classy lass although I do not feel sorry for them in the slightest.
