Lived in Camarines Sur for a few months 2 or 3 times.
Lived in Manila for a few months 2 or 3 times
Lived in Angeles City for about 6+ years.

Been to a few other provinces like Cebu, Mindoro, but too tired to remember this minute. :Erm:

Hmmm that's a difficult one!

Palawan is amazing and I also really like Bohol. The scenery in the mountainous regions of Luzon is beautiful too. But I think the province that surprised and impressed me the most was Ilocos.

Jamesey, you have a better memory than me and im not that much older:smile:
Can tell you the provinces ive been in over the last few weeks. Didn't spend longer than 24hrs in any of them except Davao Del Sur and my home province of Laguna. Have been in most provinces in Luzon and only a few in Mindanao.
Laguna
Quezon
Camarines norte
Camarines Sur
Albay
Sorosogon
Northern Samar
Batangas
Cavite
Rizal
Bulacan
Pampanga
Nueva Ecija
Nueva Vicaya
Benguet

Would have to say my favourite is Laguna as we live here. Used to enjoy Mindoro but is now overrun with tourists:thumbsdown: Have a soft spot for Bicol but the wife says we cant buy land near the beach until we are retired:anerikke:

I've noticed how many places you've been to here in the UK Novie, Youre more lucky than most people in Britain to be able to cover so many places in the short time youve been here, I would love to go to half the places you've been to and I've lived here since 1942.

But I think the province that surprised and impressed me the most was Ilocos.Heard that Pagudpud was one if not the best beach in Luzon. Has some interesting attractions too does Ilocos Norte such as the sand dunes where parts of Mad Max was filmed.

Yes, I visited Itbayat Island some years ago.
My wife wouldn't come on our camping trip.
It was an indelible memory.
I did a blog write-up here about my experience.

Not easy to get those days.
I've never forgotten a single minute about that trip.!!!!!!!!

As I thought.....courtesy of wikipedia.

Batanes Climate

The borderline subtropical climate of the province is similar to those of neighboring southern Taiwan and Okinawa. Sometimes the island experiences below the normal low of 55 degrees Fahrenheit (13 °C) in the winter months.
