Sorry ynwa, I'm going off-topic again :icon_sorry:
Graham, nice avatar :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Not in your class I know, but it brings to mind the Mazda MX5 I used to own.
It was one of those early ones with 'pop-up' lights.
It was a limited edition 1.8 and was the greatest fun to drive around.
Great car. Like driving on rails on the country roads around our village.
What a joy, happy memories bought to life by you avatar :icon_rolleyes:

Fast forward to the holographic internet, 2069, there is widespread panic on tinfoilhat.com because many years ago, the now defunct but visionary Microsoft corporation only made Windows Vista with calendars up to the end of December 2069, meaning of course it's the end of the world on new years day 2070 :Erm:

@ Terpe....Great cars those MX5s, even though they're rice burners.
Was on a run out the other week with a guy who had a turbocharged one with over 200bhp. (Got a pic somewhere- will edit it in later).
Here yar....excuse rubbish colour, had my camera settings wrong.http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/3290/mx5turboyksbigbreakfast.jpg

@Joe....Nope only in the TVR Car Club. The Dutton I owned wasn't the best car ever, to be honest.

Today's auspicious date 12.12.12 will only be repeated on 01.01.01 (yep, that 2101)
Think later tonight I'll celebrate the 'specialness' of today with a 'tot' (or two) of hot mulled Chistmas wine.
Well I won't be around in 2101.
Like most of here really :olddude:
Think I'll risk a couple of lottery tickets tonight. :icon_rolleyes:

hey bigmac they moved it to the 21st :)
Oh well ... :cwm25: ... [appropriately] it'll be the "shortest day" :yeahthat: and since, I daresay, most of us will have finished  buying our Christmas presents by then, we can at least "go" happily (secure in the knowledge that "the thought" was there) - even if we're not.
