Well, as I walk around the town centre (not often these days) it's not easy to pick out English being spoken.
We also have quite a number of interestingly diverse shops opening up.
Makes quite a change from the exodus of traditional high street names.
Those numbers are really quite high for small town.
Northampton is still among the areas with the highest proportion of incoming immigrants per year, being ranked 62nd out of 347.
Yes quite so. :doh Ideally placed on the M1
It's all about location, location location..........

Yes, that would be nice and I'm working on that right now.
Then I'll be a migrant :icon_rolleyes:
To be honest most of the European migrants we've had here are much more productive and better behaved than some of the indigenous losers.

Take J15 for the Tesco Superstore car-wash gangs and J15a for the newly refurbished Sainsbury's Superstore car-wash gangs

They probably run an express service from Albania calling in Moldova for the operatives

Something I'd almost forgotten about, but made me laugh out loud at the time.
Red double-decker bus going through Dewsbury (I think).
On the front destination board...PAKISTAN. :cwm24:
I thought it was some sort of joke at the time, but a long time afterwards discovered that there REALLY WAS a bus service going all the way to Pakistan. :laugher:

I recently found out about a bus service leaving Davao City and arriving into Manila. :yikes:
It seems that a lot of folks use the very basic non-AC buses, as the fare is cheap.
I was also told that some buses are very modern and fully equipped with air conditioning, reclining seats and even on-board CR's. I got quite interested in trying that one of these days..................until I got kicked by tourism advisor :doh
Seriously though that could be a fantastic trip. Scenic and interesting.
I'm told it takes 3 nights (4 days)
Sorry, off topic again :icon_rolleyes:

That does sound fun...depending upon who you're sharing a seat with I suppose. :Erm:
It was always my intention to take the Trans-Siberian train trip when I was in Hong Kong back in the 90s (when it was still a bit of an adventure), having met one or two travellers who'd done it. About the same price as a single air ticket at the time, and the journey (to Moscow) took around 8-10 days depending on which of the 2 routes you chose.
Sadly one of those things I just didn't get round to, what with work and family commitments.
