I had a dispute claim a couple of weeks ago over the non delivery of a Regatta Fleece - it seems hundreds of others did with the particular seller who'd hopelessly oversold. Got a refund after a few days followed by an explanation and apology from the seller explaining they'd been overwhelmed.

I've had some issues mainly with Ebay. Always got my money back although I never do business with anyone in China now and would include Hong Kong in that.

I get a strange kick out of buying $1 inc postage items from China & Honkers then working out how the hell they make a profit out of it. TBH I think I've only ever had one not turn up

just like you i enjoy buying and paying what i think is a great price, i have only had 1 complaint but that was sorted out straight away, but this one there is no reply from them , it will not stop me from buying again, the only good thing about this is that Ems has paid me already for the goods that are not here:xxgrinning--00xx3:, but dont tell her

just dont wait too long opening a dispute, i was messed around by a trader on ebay, they told me they sent it, that the PO must have lost it, and they sent another, and then no answer from them..

then you'll find out your out of time to open a dispute. luckly it wasn't much money. :cwm23:

I have used the dispute once. My brother asked me to buy this electrical tester he wants in ebay from an American seller (a trusted ebay seller too). After I paid, I have waited 2 weeks I think for it to be dispatched as the seller said it is out of stock. So I opened a dispute in paypal. And then after a day the seller contacted me that he has the item already and ready to be dispatched, I just need to cancel the dispute. Anyway, he sent the item right away and after a week, my brother got it.

I sold a laptop on E bay for £150, 3 years ago. The buyer paid by paypal so I sent him the laptop. The money never arrived. I had opened my paypal account whilst living in Thailand and it was administered by paypal Singapore. After weeks of emails and phone calls and paypal finally admitting that they had the money and they didn't have a clue where it was, I just gave up on it. 150 big ones down the Swanee.

PS: The ebay transaction was made in England and the buyer was in Scotland which shouldn't have made a ..... of difference but I'm sure it did.
