Hi Guys,

Just giving you updates regarding my visa. I already collected my passport with visa stamped on it and my documents from VFS this afternoon.
What a perfect Christmas gift.
Just question though how long should I stay in the UK before I can get to the next step.
My visa is valid from January 13, 2013 to October 13, 2013, that makes 34 months.

Hi Mrs Smith, congratulations, what part of UK will you be living? Also the date should be Oct 2015 I think!!

yes sorry typographical error, it should be Oct. 13, 2015. I will live in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
I thought the maximum months for spouse visa is 27 months, just wondering why mine is 34. Did they introduce any rule again?

my visa validity is on January 13, 2013, it means I have to leave the country by that time to complete the 34 months is that correct?

You cant get the sticker but you can attend the counselling but you can do both when ur visa is already valid.

She CAN book a flight with or without the CFO because AIRLINES dont need that BUT she CANT leave the country without the CFO.

1. As others have said you must get your CFO sticker before departure.

2. The validity of your visa starts on January 13. Means you can ONLY leave after visa validity. You need to live in UK for 30 months in order to qualify for another 30 months leave to remain.
This means it is better you leave Philippines before April 2013.
You must have 60 months qualifying period in UK before eligible for ILR

Well done and good luck:xxgrinning--00xx3:
