That one takes me back Graham!
My mum used to help run the "Montpellier club" a dodgy nightclub, casino, dance hall and in the daytime I would help her do the cleaning for a few bob.
I was allowed to mess around on the dj stand and play the music and remember playing this song not having a clue what they were singing about-ah the innocence:smile:

Kingsley Allison?

No...Tony Lister.

...Until one night he was escorted from the DJ stand by the bouncers after kicking out at an angry bloke who's girlfriend Tony had taken round the back for a knee-trembler the previous night. :laugher:

Later Tony became a (very unlikely) Liberal Councillor for N.Yorks Council, but was banned from their meetings after turning up there pissed out of his head one time too many.:icon_lol:

Later we used to shoot over to Harrogate to go to 'Club 11'.

I also used to knock around with the people who owned a burger bar called the Damned Yankee...mid-70s :)
