Am I getting old now

My UK passport ran from April 2003 to April 2013 so I have just decided to renew it. I duly filled in the form along with the new picture and sent it away, only for it all to be returned to me a few days later with a letter explaining that as my appearance had changed so much over the last ten years that I must now have my new photograph countersigned to confirm my identity!

I was thinking about this and realised that this period of ageing must have started after I first met my wife in the Philippines back in September 2002. She blames the grey hair and overall size increase on beer and wine consumption. I blame it all on having three Filipinas in the house!

:yikes: ... if you're old mate, I must be Methuselah! :olddude: It's only really when we look back on old photos - that seemed like they were taken only yesterday (but, in fact, date back a decade and more) - that we realise how ... the older we grow ... then,
the quicker time appears to pass! :icon_rolleyes:
