It's a shame that the Remploy factories are closing in a previous life I used to have dealings with them tbh though they've been in decline for years I saw in the late 1990's the effect Govt (Labour) Defence cutbacks were having on some of them.
Interesting that your quote comes from the Liverpool Echo Joe - I know that there are very high ratios of public sector workers in their catchment, I wonder if the same goes for fraudulent benefit claimants ?

Certainly not defence and law and order cutbacks Joe, I'm for seriously increased spending in those areas
