Rail travellers are cane again by the greedy Rail Companies. I did laugh at the Hypocrisy of the Shadow Transport Minister though "Labour would strictly enforce the fare cap on every route and restore the ban on train companies imposing higher increases”. How comes you didn't do this when you was in power.
I don't think it's fair that everyones being asked to tighten their belts and yet rail companies can impose ridiculous rises on some routes.

The average increase for rail passengers travelling between Northampton and London Euston will be 4.7 per cent, raising a season ticket from £4,756 to £4,980.

Speaking as a Londoner we recently elected a new mayor. One of the candidates campaign was run on a cut in fares for Londoners whilst the eventual winner Boris also promised that "fares would go down in an honest and sustainable way". He obviously lied.
