He got 2 years which in my book means he will do less than 18 months. Hardly punishment for the crime. I bet he's got a nice big mansion waiting for him back in Romania :cwm23:

Ciggie smuggling is big business,it can make a man a millionaire almost overnight,I have spent quite a bit of time on Gibraltar over the last 2 years,its a national institution,I chatted to some spanish guys who were foot soldiers,they did the border crossing multitudinous times a day but were taking home £150 a day,tax free,the romanian guy got 2 years?Sentence halved then time off for good behavior,maybe serve a year and be out early with a tag for his curfew.

I know an English guy that has been living here on over 150,000 PHP per month by sending fags and viagra to the UK.
He reckons its nearly over though as all packages in the R.P post office are searched before closed,stamped and sent.. Also,more and more of his boxes are being intercepted in the UK.
He also says that Viagra and herbal remedies are now offered very cheaply on Ebay by Pakistani vendors.
