Hello Everyone,
We are about to apply for fiance visa for my lady in the Philippines to come to UK to marry me here, can someone advise what catogory to select on the visa4UK web site, there is nothing which says "Fiance"
The closest I can find is "visit - special visitor - marriage/civil partnership"

You need application form VAF4A - for Partners, Children and other Family
The application form is hereThe application form is here (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/visas/vaf4a.pdf)
You'll also need to complete the VAF4A - Appendix 2 - Financial Requirements
Here is the UKBA webpage specifically for Fiance(e) and Civil Partner (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/fiancee-proposed-cp)
May I also suggest to take some time to review the forum thread here called How To Apply for a Fiance(e) Visa (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php/39869-All-New-Guide-How-to-apply-for-a-Fiance-Visa)
Hope it helps

Hi Terpe,
Thanks for the information, The main query i have is the correct selection on the visa4UK web site, as non of the selections list the word "Fiancee", settlement for marriage does load the VAF4A form which is what I think we will fill in, along with appendix 2
