Hopefully be away then so I will give it a miss,I still chuckle at the memory of some pinays who set up a stall at one of the entrances and tried to charge people to enter a public park :icon_lol: I dont think they grasped the concept of "Public" :icon_lol: I took this guys photo because he kept smiling at my (at my age I have to grab every rare opportunity):icon_lol:

I should be going again, but hope the weather is better this year like it was 3 years ago, as last year was mixed with showers and 2 years ago was really bad with really heavy rain at times!

I have never been. Wont be able to make it on the Saturday, but Sunday I may go, be silly not too, I live 2 miles away! I'd like to see them charge me to use a park I have been using free of charge for many a year. And anyway, there are so many ways into that park that they wouldn't be able to make everyone pay.

They've altered the venue now between Hampton Court & Walton on Thames

I have a feeling that the change in venue probably means there is going to be a serious effort to extract plenty of dosh from visitors.
Private land probably means extortionate car parking charges and probably means an admission charge. Be prepared.

Great line on their website
While everyone has the option to travel by public transport, everyone is encouraged to travel by car or by coach since the new venue offers a HUGE parking facility with fees worth only £10 for one day, or £10 for the entire weekend! That means you can use the same parking ticket if you attend the Barrio Fiesta on both days.

Who cares about carbon footprints when there's a tenner per motor to be had
