I live in uk and have filipino GF.
Currently I am getting my marriage anulled because my current filipino wife is still legally married in Philippines. My marriage is legally void, but the anullment proceedings are much same as divorce and I am still registered as married.
I would like to get my GF in philippines over here on visitors visa, I know this will not be easy. UKVACS will need convincing of her return.
She has a son, and with the help of her sister, have set up a small business in her name. Still, I know the odds are against us getting visitor visa!
I was intrigued by ADMIN's remarks on Romanian passport. Can he advise me further on how it would be used? (If I get one):Erm:
Thanks
And if anyone has tips on visitors visa, would be very grateful.

Thanks Pete! I am filipina married to a british man as well. Reading between the line of ur problem about ur married and annulment is the same as my case. I am married to my ex for 5 years. Then we or he, himself found out that our married was void. He did everything coz he wanted to marry the girl ( his fling when we was on the Phils for a 6 months holiday). Anyway, I dont know that he filed an annulment back in Phils. 2 months after we arrived here the good Lord used 1 person in order for me to discover what he did. After some rowed and arguments and I gathered my wits. I rang family friend solicitor and other solicitor that the expertise is on annulment. Thet both advice me to let him filed a divorced over here coz it will be still valid back home. I dont want to do it at first coz of pride and ego that I will be the one to filed divorced coz he has the one who cheat not me. I love him and serve him like a King even though he's not worth it. Well, to make the story short. I am the one who do all the research what will be the quickest way coz annulment proceedings will be in maximum of 2 years and I want to be away with him the soonest. I found the site of quickie divorced in two months time we already divorced. Quikie divorced is cheaper as well compared to annulment. I share this to you coz it might help.
