An Aberdeenshire restaurant has been fined £25,000 in civil penalties for employing illegal workers, and two other Aberdeen eateries have also been fined a total of £13,750, details recently published by the UK Border Agency show.

its most likely the fines are less than what these businesses have saved by employing these illegals in cheap labour,
its just not on

£25,000 for eight illegal workers is just over £3k per illegal. They were so deterred they were caught with another 5 in July just 3 months later. Should be the maximum £10k per head for the second offence and bang the owners up :cwm23:
