Hi all,

Cant seem to get an answer from the UKBA so can anyone help me. Me and my fiancee would like to go travelling. Her visa is for 6 months with multiple entry (marriage visa). Can she go abroad? We were looking at a tour which is in the EU, escorted coach tour which goes through 8 countries.

Thank you for any information.

I would think she needs to obtain a tourist visa. Better check on your preferred country's immigration website to be certain. It's always tough to hold a Philippine Passport:biggrin:

if she gets married and she leaves the country without getting FLR first , she might have a problem getting back in the UK because she entering the UK again on the wrong visa. (no longer a fiancee but your wife:doh)

Take note of what others have said.
Be extra careful about re-entering UK.

Under almost ALL circumstances she would need a tourist visa for each country.
Normally she could apply for a Schenghen Visa which would cover all EU countries within the Schenghen Zone, however that cannot be issued unless she has leave to remain for more than 6 months.

If you are determined to travel on that Fiance(e) Visa you need to seek out those places she can visit without needing a visa.
Here's a good resource (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_requirements_for_Filipino_citizens) that shows on a single page all those countries that Philippine citizens can visit without visa.
It also shows the principle visa validity and condition

Good luck

PS Be aware that application waiting times for FLR(M) are very long (currently over 6 months)
