Biometric application

Please l need advice.l have been granted leave to remain,and l received an application from UKBA asking me to apply for Biometric.l have fill the form and have sent it back since 12 Dec 2012.But l haven't received any letter of invitation to take to the post office to do my Finger Biometric.
Pls how long does it takes after applying for biometric.Before l get a reply letter to when l do my biometric at the post office.
pls need an answer

I am in fiancee visa route so we maybe different but i have just done my biometrics for my FLR (M) last Monday in Notts Post Office for less than 10 minutes, very quick. It took 2 months of wait though to receive biometrics request letter from the UKBA. Just be patient, it will surely reach your mailbox.
