Hello,

I registered here today because this forum is much nicer than the German forums I have visited in the last weeks.

I live in Frankfurt now, will move to Prague next months, because of my new job for an American media company.

I met my fiance from Eastern Samar on the internet. Two weeks ago we met for a week in Manila. Now we plan for marriage. For me it will be the second marriage, for her - she is 24 - it will be the first time. And I really hope that for both of us it is the last one ;)

My family thinks I'm crazy, because we just met for one week. But things like that happen. We are both convinced that this is the right choice.

I know it will not be easy. But I feel we can deal with every situation. It's just perfect understanding. Even if we disagree on something.

I'm happy that I found this forum, because I like the tone and style. And it gives the opportunity to exchange experiences and views with other people who are in a similar situation. That can be very helpful.

So far for the moment. Looking forward!

Hey, welcome Uli!

So, are you German? My mother came form Germany after the war.

I've also had a whirlwind romance - we plan to marry next spring ... second time for me, first time for Ruby. I really never expected to find someone with whom I feel so totally in harmony, and Ruby feels the same ... despite a difference of 30 years in our ages!

Anyway, I think you'll like it here!

Wow, Maria .. another German-speaking pinay. I was sitting outside DFA, waiting for Ruby a few weeks back, when I had a conversation in German with an older filipina - she'd been nursing in Germany for some years.

Thanks to all for your friendly welcome! It's really a great place here, so many nice people.

No, I don't mention the game...

Peter, our "cases" look very much alike - I also never expected that kind of harmony with somebody. I very much feel the difference between Lyzel and my first wife which was from France.

It's simply amazing. And it's true. I know we will have to wait at least 6 months until we can be together. That's hard, but we're both completly commited and confident. There is already lot of trust. Amazing, as I said.

Regards

Mich
