hi guys!
im new here, and just starting getting information about how to apply in fiance visa. And starting to gather all evidence of our relationship my problem is we just met once face to face last december 2012, he stays here 18 days and were planning to apply the visa this june this year so 6 months after we met. Is this alright to apply this long and met just once. Coz someone told me that the best to apply is 3 to 4 months after we met hope guys u can enlighten our mind...thanks in advanced

Hi Zenz have a look at this link from UKBA.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/fiancee-proposed-cp/can-you-apply/

It says you have to have met. So once is enough.
Zenz have you or your partner not considered marrying in the Philippines as in the long run it works out cheaper in terms of visas and if you were intending to work in the UK you can get a job straight away on a spouse visa.
Just a thought.

Hi Zenz

There's plenty of advice here if you search. As well as the above thread here's another one by Terpe which compares getting married in the Philippines with getting married here. Perhaps you and your partner should have a read and decide what's best for you.
Good Luck :xxgrinning--00xx3:
