Well we are finally there and successfully submitted the VAF4A and paid online for my wifes visa today. Shipping the last docs this afternoon by DHL.

However, we received this email which clearly states that we can only apply at the Ecoplaza in Manila, although their embedded link allows you to book a Keppel Building in Cebu appointment. I'm sure we will be ok but why cant they just make it clear and stop confusing the .... out of everyone??? Anyone had the same experience?

This is your unique Application Number. Please keep it safe for your reference:

You must now book your appointment on-line, in order to submit your application. You must do this by following the 'BOOK YOUR ON-LINE APPOINTMENT HERE' link, shown below. When your appointment has been booked, you must take your printed application, supporting documents and the appropriate fee (unless paid on-line with this application) to the address shown below on the agreed date and time of your appointment. Your application will not be accepted at any other location. Failure to submit documents to the address shown below will result in a delay and/or lead to the refusal of your application.

Well like what they have sent and told you, I think, in my own opinion, it's better to submit it in Ecoplaza as they clearly stated the exact location where your wife has got to lodge her app. Better to be sure than have complication and more confusion further.

I can see why you would want to do Biometrics in Cebu. Just a boat ride. I submitted Mira's app online today and after paying I don't recollect it stating I had to submit docs to Manila. We chose Manila anyway for 2 reasons. 1. we are going to visit friends there and 2. You have to pay a fee around 3,200 pesos from Cebu. If that's what is stated then do Manila and don't risk anything $1363 is a lot to cough up.

Well we followed the link in the email to the Book Appointment page and made an appointment at Keppel Building in Cebu anyway. Needn't have worried, all docs submitted and biometrics done this morning, with the follow up text to say they are are already on their way to Manila. Happy Days - I'm off to post in the Celebration section!

Hi gladz and thanks

I went to my local DHL office about 16.00 on thursday 31st and they delivered to our apartment in Panglao, Bohol about 15.00 local time on the 5th. We were able to track it online from Isle of Man, through East Midlands, Leipzig, Hong Kong and Manila. I sent about 1kg of docs at a cost of £42.00ish. I had it estimated for arriving on the 8th so was very pleased we could bring our appointment forward.

Good luck
