Hi there STU3UK, i think i will answer this one for Joy as she is not yet home...She applied July 6, it must have taken 6 weeks for her to get the visa.

STU3UK as what Grace mentioned I submitted my application last July 6 they issued the visa no interview on July 20 I got it yesterday. Just relax it'll drive you nuts if you keep thinking about it just like me and Gracia (tama ba day?)... hahaha

And Martin thank you so much for taking time to answer all my questions I'm so happy just like Cynthia.

Silk Air/Singapore Air from Davao? I've just had so much hassle in the last week trying to arrange that journey from the UK. I needed a return from London to Davao for me, and Single from Davao to London for Ruby (on the same flights). In the end, yesterday, I went for British Airways between London Singapore .. many more seats available, and booked my return Singapore to Davao on the net. That just left Ruby to book her flight to Singapore - now done, but not yet paid - they can't tell her how much!

Anyway, I arrive Davao on Sept 5, and we leave together, bound for UK, on Sept 11.

Congratulations on your visa .. fiancee visa, I presume. Ruby received her visitors visa exactly one week after attending the Axa building!

Walang Anuman, Anilyn is mabuti at masayahin, well at least when I am at work :) Today we visit a nice church and enquire about wedding plans :) You cannot just get married in any church that takes your fancy over here :( There are so many nice ones, really romantic to look at, but we just hope the Vicar will keep to his idea of turning a blind eye to that one, our local church is a bit ugly, so we go to a different one, although we should not :)

Anilyn is struggling with our summer over here, it is too hot for her :NoNo::laugher:

Ah, I've not had problems booking for my previous 2 visits, just getting a return starting in London .. the difficulty this time was that I could find no way of booking the flight for Ruby, starting in Davao, using my credit card, without me physically being there in Davao. Booking a return flight for myself and then hoping I could get Ruby booked on the same return flight, once I arrived, was just too risky. The way I've booked it now, it just relied on me sending Ruby cash to pay for the single flight from Davao to Singapore. We're still waiting to know the price!

Hello Paul... Im glad Anilyn is having a great time there. When is your wedding? There are lots of nice churches, i've been scanning some sites about it. Julian and I plan to have our church blessing at St. Mary's the Virgin in Friston. Its an old small church and very pretty.

talking about bullet proof vests, i was in robs employers shop to day, looking at tooth paste :D, and they have for sale floss, and it says on the packet, made from same fibres as bullet proof vests :icon_lol:,, so i'm filling my coat with the fibres, just incase i ever have to go thru lillypud land, or Mindanao :NEW4::NEW3:

Hi Annie, i'm still using the twister that we purchased but still can't get all the worries out of my head. Spent most of my time in Rob's Mall as well but no avail. Surely, you will be able to acclimatize one day, yes after 25years and that's not too bad :icon_lol:(kidding).
