I will probably visit the UK (London) for the first time in April. I've been reading pretty much every post I see to be very informed on how to prepare my trip well. But any help will be very much appreciated. ;)

And what is your intention to do while you are here?

I intend to tour.

Fair enough! :anerikke: But I ought to forewarn you as to how difficult it CAN be nowadays
to enter the UK as a tourist.

Sadly, :bigcry: due to flagrant abuses of the System in the past - e.g., OVERstaying the validity of a Visitor's Visa - it is now incumbent upon all such applicants to furnish the British Embassy with suitable evidence that proves beyond reasonable doubt, their express intention of going back home within the timeframe allocated ... a full time job
to return to, being one typically important example.

Difficult ... but NOT impossible! :nono-1-1: If you're confident about meeting the criteria then, naturally, it'll be a lot less difficult. And, for a fee of 78 GBP (marginally under 4,500 Php) it's relatively inexpensive.

Further information may be obtained by first, googling the UK Border Agency's Home Page, then clicking on the appropriate Section(s) relating to tourists.

Meanwhile, :welcomex: to the online filipino/uk community.
