Rumours elsewhere on t'internet.

HI
Anyone out there heard a rumour that the BOI are only going to extend tourist visa's once & once only.
Heard this from a friend who was in Bacolod BOI & heard it being said to some expats in there.

Who knows anything that gets bounced around with BI :doh

On the positive side it certainly doesn't fit in with the government strategy connected with increasing tourism and extending the tourist experience.

We'll see eh :Erm:

It maybe was an over heard conversation to an expat who had been extending for a year and was told "this is your last one".

His 'last one' till the next one:wink:
You are allowed to stay up to 16 months on a visitors visa and they may allow you to extend up to 24 months. After that you have to exit even if it is just for a couple of days. On your return the whole process will start over again.
As long as you are not stepping on anybodies toes and polite they are and will remain flexible.
