Horsemeat has been found in cottage pies delivered to 47 schools in Lancashire. Britain's biggest hotel chain Whitbread, which owns Premier Inn, has also found horsemeat in lasagna and burgers on its menu.

May i ask whats wrong with horse meat? I tasted it before in phils...aside from being rubbery taste isn't too bad i guess?

Nothing wrong with it, we just don't eat it in the UK the same as we don't eat dog and cats, horses are classed as pets.

I think the main factor is the ones who have bought these products have been robbed. Will the people get compensation? Will they hell as like.
