:cwm23: As well as the deplorable sacking of this lady questions need to be asked as to why all pupils of all faiths at a so called "multi faith" are served halal meat

If that story is true, that someone was sacked for an "unintentional error", meaning it was a mistake, meaning "how the chuff can someone tell if something is halal or not" then this dinnerlady has a good case for an industrial tribunal.
I suspect there is more to this than is being reported, as by any standards, this is barking

The school is run by a Birminghams Labour majority Council - this sort of pandering to and discrimination in favour of extremist ethnic minorities is policy so they can count on being re-elected

I'm puzzled.
If the school serves ONLY halal meat to all students, how did this dinner lady actually serve non-halal meat.
My logic is that there's no non-halal meat anywhere in the school. :Erm:
Maybe I missed something again :olddude:

yes seen it, planning rushed through, not listening to any objection, looks like it was a pass before any meeting

Wow this Islam malarkey certainly has no mercy or forgiveness. Shame on them for not being able to forgive what is clearly a genuine mistake by an individual dinner lady. You certainly get the feeling these days that Islam is a faith filled with hatred for non believers. What a way to live your life.
I agree with Joe that faith has no place in schools. It's time we adopted the French attitude to education and leave the faith to be practised at weekends.

BRAINWASHING our children with religious hokus pokus from the dark ages has NO place in our school system !
If people think Northern Ireland is bad...just imagine what lies in store for future generations in this messed up country of ours. :NoNo:
I refused to have my son 'baptised' into this primitive nonsense. :cwm23:

:gp: ... probably more educational than listening to a priest droning on ad infinitum [in Latin] with his 'homilie' (or whatever it's called in the Catholic Church!)

Michael, take a look here for a down to earth definition.
Good Question: What is Halal Meat (http://www.thekitchn.com/good-question-what-is-halal-me-60979)
We often buy it as the price, quality and taste is good for us. Each to their own
Costco have a good range at good prices.
