I can't help :Jump:ing with joy... All of the documents we submitted for my FLR(M) application arrived today. Never mind the torn edges of the envelope, as every single document we submitted were returned safely!:doh I haven't received my BRP yet but I think it is part of the waiting game. I would like to share my FLR(M) timeline in the hope that it will give light to those members who are still waiting for their application's decision.

28 Aug 2012 - Posted my FLR(M) application while on a honeymoon in Bristol. The reason for doing so was because my visa will expire on the 12th of September 2012. There was a problem because after posting, I realised that I should have used FLR(M) Form version 07/2012 instead of 04/2012:thumbsdown:

31 Aug 2012 - Visa fee withdrawn from my husband's bank account and acknowledgment letter arrived... Despite the fact the I used an outdated form.

................and there was a long wait..

29 Jan 2013 - I received a letter from UKBA dated 24 Jan 2013 asking me to complete a current version of FLR(M) Form and asking for documents IMPOSSIBLE to produce.

1 Feb 2013 - We wrote a letter to R Chadwick outlining the errors of her letter dated 24/01/2013 and explaining why I can't provide the documents she asked.

8 Feb 2013 - Met with Craig Whittaker, MP to seek help. He suggested not taking the Ombudsman route as it will make matters complicated.

9 Feb 2013 - Received a letter dated 07/02/2013 for my Biometrics appointment.

12 Feb 2013 - my Biometrics enrolled at Leeds Post Office in New York St.

TODAY (23/02/2012) - Received all my documents back with a letter enclosed dated 07/02/2013 (same date they wrote the letter for my biometrics appointment) So, has UKBA decided to return my documents even though I have not enrolled my Biometrics yet?

I am still waiting for my BRP....But thanks a lot to the members and moderators who have been very helpful:xxgrinning--00xx3:. My passport just arrived in time so I can sit my CBT without hassles. To those who are still waiting, you will eventually get there.

Great news jlags90 - congratulations.

Like you say the next waiting game is the BRP. We waited in for the obligatory 10 days and no sign of a card, so we emailed them and hey presto one turned up a week later.

My anxiety was whether they needed my wife to sign in person, but they came when she had gone out and were happy for me to sign. Make sure one of you stays in all the time!

It might have been of no use because UKBA wrote a letter returning my docs on the 7th of February, and we met him in the 8th of Feb. Nevertheless, if he helped UKBA get moving, well done to him!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Anyway, I have overlooked to quote imagine's congratulations.. so thank you!:icon_lol:

I heard our doorbell ringing on Saturday when the documents came, but I did not bother getting up coz I slept too late (it's John Grisham's mistake). It couldn't be DX coz they did not leave a we missed you note:biggrin:.

The letter accompanying the documents said to wait for 10 days, yeah. Did you start counting from the documents' arrival or did you count from the date of the letter (as what has been said in the letter)?

Hi jlags - I counted 10 working days from the date on the letter...

The letter was dated 7th of Feb (same day they wrote the letter for my Biometrics App ) which is quiet odd. Anyway, thanks Anakin, will e-mail them if it doesn't arrive today..

Hello everyone.. I am very pleased to say that my BRP arrived today. David received it without any problems (no ID checks whatsoever)... The next few days will be very busy:icon_lol:.

I have booked for an appointment for my NI number in Leeds Eastgate Jobcenter (5th of Mar). Then, will be sitting my CBT in Leeds (6th of Mar)... Finally open a joint bank account (7th of Mar)! :ReadIt:Sounds like much but I can't help it, I am just too pleased after a long wait:biggrin:.

Managed to put my name in David's Water Bills and will be chasing the Council to count me in the CT Bill for my proof of address...:cwm25: However, I registered with the library today using UKBA's letter as a proof of address without any problems.

It just proves that you can do a lot of things with your passport back... :Erm: Will be allowed to get into pubs without age questions:Erm:
