Hi all! I have some questions regarding citizenship. I am a holder of a spouse visa. It will expire next month. My husband and I are wondering if I could apply for naturalisation now or do I have to apply for Indefinite Leave To Remain Visa first? I already have a certificate of Life In The UK. Thank you and have a nice day.

P.S.
Also I have been living here in the UK for the past five years with another category visa.

ILR first, I'm afraid, Maricel ... I cannot think of any OTHER category of visa that would exempt you from the need to go through the accepted procedure :nono-1-1: ... even if you'd already been married in the past to another British Citizen.

As regards the *'Life in the UK' Test, is concerned, however ... I shouldn't imagine you would be required to re-take *it. :NoNo:
