birth certificate of my son

hello ,just want to ask me and my son are here in the uk.but i gave birth in philippines .His father is british and my son have british passport.Do i need to register his filipino birth certificate here in uk?

yes, you can but it doesnt replace the original birth certificate which is issued locally in the PH....once you have registered ,the General Registry Office will just store the copy and if you need some they can provide the copies for you.
