... seems the test is not compulsory for those who applied for their visa before the end of February ... i.e., people like yourself. There's a possibility the airport authorities will direct you to their Medical Suite to be x-rayed on your arrival at Birmingham. Some do ... some dont. Either way ... :anerikke: ... you shouldn't encounter any problems. :NoNo:

Hi ALUB, sorry late response. I don't know exactly about the answer to your question, coz when I came here its on fiancee visa and its stamped on my passport. Now I just got a letter from UKBA that my BRP will be recieved after 10 working days though I already got all the documents we sent to them on our application. And my passport dont have any stamp so maybe you will recieve your BRP soon. Just ask for other members here or the admin maybe they know what to advice on this.

thanks angellegwen .... I am so excited now can't wait to see my family :REDancedancer08: I will be flying soon next week :airline: I just want to ask one more question... do i need to keep all documents that I passed when I applied for my spouse visa... It's very heavy to take with me on my flight. Do i need these documents for my next application after two years?

I keep the originals (papers that my husband sent to me) and my important documents. Those necessary papers you might need here just bring it with you. Happy trip to you and welcome to the UK soon  Enjoy while you're still there.

Thanks Sheldon
I arrived here in Birminham 1st week of April.... Freezing cold but it's okay.... So happy to see my husband and daughter after 8 months....The good thing is i dont get any problem entering the immigration officer just ask some question and not even ask for my x-ray...maybe because I come from saudi and they usually give us medical examination if you will work there. I have a spouse visa and i dont what other papers i needed or what should i do next...Do i have to get the National ID now and the BRP that they are saying here....my husband dont know anything at all.... Can you tell me what else should I do now I'm here? thanks to all....

Register at a local doctors surgery or health centre, also go to your local Jobcentre and apply for your National Insurance Number, as you will need that for when you apply for a job. I'm sure other members will guide you along as you ask for more information. Good Luck Alub!:xxgrinning--00xx3:
