I was going to do the same in 2005...but to Hong Kong on my pushbike.
After spending a couple of thousand quid just on the bike and equipment, decided I'd miss my son too much. :cwm3:

Graham when are you looking at going to the phils? I promised Florsel that when she received her ILR i would take her home for a holiday so now the ILR has arrived im looking at going in may if all comes together

It would be great to have some company, but May is too soon, because my boy is coming back home June 1st. More like September I reckon. :smile:

I met a Brit in the UK once that was sitting in his Filipino passenger Jeepney in Milton Keynes.
He drove it back from R.P..
Now thats what I call adventure!

Yes, but presumably he's seeking sponsorship, and he's hoping to have the 5 grand left out of that to give to Oxfam. :smile:
