Ba!

Then again, it would mean having to live over THERE, and on the wet side. :Erm:

It's ok Graham your speed is fine-I was getting 60 mb/s but downgraded to 30 to save money:biggrin:

Hmm....I'm going to have to adjust to living in my retirement Nipa hut sooner or later I suppose.:cwm25:

Perhaps I can junk the broadband and telly and make a start by living in my garden shed and surfing on my mobile. :Erm:

Mine says that it's slower than 52% of UK. I use SKY broadband.
Should I change ?

Should I change ?

No, unless you can switch to Virgin Media's cable. Otherwise you are likely to get the same speed as it all comes from the same exchange.

10mbps is more then enough for full screen HD, unless you are a business transferring large files you shouldn't need any more.

Ahh, but see here:-

[B]Superfast Broadband Plan For Northamptonshire[B/]

.....the County Council agreed BT as its preferred supplier to roll-out superfast broadband.

This is great news as it represents another step towards the County Council’s ambition of full coverage by the end of 2017.

The £4m investment by the County Council, along with Government and BT funds, will enable superfast broadband to be delivered to over 50,000 premises, including 3,000 businesses. With three quarters of these having access to speeds of in excess of 50mbs. I am confident that this will bring huge economic and other benefits to the county.

Used to be with Virgin but fell out of love with them over poor service which wasn't helped by having to speak to agents in India about our problems.

Yes, I fell out with them for similar reasons after 8 years of loyalty. No regrets
