:xxgrinning--00xx3: time to pull out of the court of criminal rights..
Britain should consider leaving the European Convention on Human Rights because it interferes with the government's ability to fight crime and control immigration, Home Secretary (interior minister) Theresa May said on Saturday.

Not so sure that she wasn't trying to position herself as a future leadership candidate if the Shiite hits the fan for Cameron.
It's obviously not Government policy otherwise they would be trying to do it now.
Interesting though.

An extract from the linked article says:-
The government, a coalition of Conservatives and Liberal Democrats, set up a commission of experts in March 2011 to investigate how to create a bill of rights. The commission reported in December 2012 that its members had failed to reach agreement on what should be done.
These "experts" were working on is commonly known as the British Bill of Rights.

They are unlikely to win the next election so they can say what the hell they like the same as Labour :action-smiley-081:. She hasn't even got the intelligence to answer a letter from an MP  She probably couldn't work out which side of the stamp to lick :Cuckoo:

Quick off the mark, as usual. :icon_rolleyes:
How much humiliation must the country take before we take control of some of our own affairs ? :NoNo:
The cartoonists will love it if she comes within a mile of getting the leadership. A woman who can make Maggie Thatcher look 'pretty'. :icon_lol:

Well I am glad that they are listening to UKIP a bit at long last. I see Farage was having lunch with Murdoch, Maybe a deal going on under the table. Or Farage is looking for funding.

i think they will need a deal, because if not ukip will help labour where they are second behind the Tories, by taking mainly Tory voters, and where the libs are second behind the Tories the libs might take those seats from the Tories.
either way the Tories will lose, they didn't have enough to form a majority looks to me they will not have at the next election, and probably not the party with the most MP's
so

For the moment I'm just glad that UKIP are there to nip at the heels of ALL MPs who are content with allowing our country to be used and abused by those across the Channel who's bacon we saved at the cost of so many British lives...'Lest they Forget'.

I think UKIP are calling the tune at the moment. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Cameron dumped before the next Election. Farage seems to be clear that to do business with the Tories would require a new leader and a referendum.
One or two more bad by election results for the Tories and they'll ditch him just the same as they ditched Thatcher.
