Hi folks anyone know what the figure is in sterling that you are allowed to take in to to the phils?

Not exactly sure but it's significantly larger than the peso's you can bring in, I think!

Hi Jamie, from Philippines to England you are allowed to bring up to 10000 dollars without declaring it, I managed to bring £7000 in cash, the reason was Internet banking wouldn't allow monies to be transferred from Philippines to UK only from UK to anywhere in the world. By the way the transaction from PNB to sterling took a week because they hadn't got enough Pounds in the bank!:smile:

you can bring as much as you want stevie however you have got to declare it to customs if its $10k or more than $10k.
