Two men from Pakistan have been found working illegally at a Prestonpans takeaway following a UK Border Agency operation.

Checks on the immigration status of staff revealed 2 men from Pakistan who have no right to work in the UK. They must now report regularly to the UK Border Agency while their outstanding immigration issues are concluded.

I have to agree Dedworth.
How pointless to use so many resources tracking them down and arresting them just to let them go under a promise they'll be good honest folk and report as instructed :doh

I've noticed recently that raids for ''illegal workers'' are from takeaway shops??...well thats good news for taxpayers !!... these illegals are being paid cash on hand and they dont pay no tax:cwm23:

It is also good news for law abiding companies who pay taxes and have to lay off legal workers when find themselves being unfairly competed against by these rogue operations.
