Man jailed for immigration offences in Glasgow

A 61-year-old man from Pakistan has been handed a 14 month prison sentence after pleading guilty to entering the UK using a passport he obtained by stealing someone else's identity.

Why on earth are we providing him with expensive hotel accommodation and food for 14 months ? :mad:

Just give him to the Pakistan government so he can serve his sentence amongst his own kind.

£40000 plus to keep in in jail V £600 for a one way ticket to pakistan. I think its a no brainer.:doh
