First, you need to gather all your documents like your Marriage Certifcate, It will take time to get it at NSO. Unless you request for advance endorsement. Congrats by the way.

Actually your husband needs to understand way more than you about how to apply.
His input will be the major contribution and his income and accomodation etc will be the ultimate decision key.

OK loping, as a very first step please read this thread and follow all the included links to the UKBA site.

All New Guide - How to apply for a Spouse/Partner Visa (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php/39740-All-New-Guide-How-to-apply-for-a-Spouse-Partner-Visa)

Read this and again follow the links - Applying for a UK visa in the Philippines (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/philippines/applying/?langname=UK English)

The UKBA advises all applicants to read their application Guidance Notes (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/visas/vaf2-8b-guidance.pdf) together with their Supporting Documents Guidance (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/out-of-country/sup-docs-settlement.pdf)

You can search here in the forum for any areas/topic of concern or you can ask as many questions as you need right here in your thread.

Hope this helps.

Oh, and please be sure your husband also fully understand what is needed. This has to be a real team effort for you both.
There's a lot of things to understand.

Take this journey step-by-step, don't be shy to ask as many questions as you want.
There's plenty of folks here who have been down the same road and made that journey. Everyone here is friendly and willing to share experiences, and to make sure to get that special visa.

Some early steps for you both to consider is for you meet the English language requirement (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/spouse-cp/can-you-apply/english-language/)

Also now there is a new requirement for TB Screening before you can make your application.
Here's the needed detail - Tuberculosis testing in the Philippines (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/philippines/applying/tb-test/?langname=null)
