Hi guys.
I shall applying to the Philpiines Embassy in early May for 32 days visa extension. I have the PDF file that I fill on line and print and then take it to a solicitor and have it notarized. I send my passport and pre-paid return special delivery service mail bakc to me.
One question the form says this:
Signature of Applicant
SUBSCRIBED AND SWORN to before me on ______________________ in the City
of London, England.
____________________________________
Signature of Consular Officer/Notary Public
Question:?
The town I that will be dated Subscribed & sworn will be in Devon not London .. will this be a problem? Or is London just their by default?
Many thanks
John

When I applied for a 'visa' extension, I just called Philippine Embassy in London and asked what to do, they send the form I filled it in sent my passport and fee within two days my passport was returned with a 59 day extension, very simple really!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Yes John, Michael is correct :xxgrinning--00xx3:
If you have any concerns just give the Philippine Embassy a call or drop them an e-mail. They're very good at responding these days with accurate information. Besides, they'll be the ones processing.
Better to get the most up-to-date info. Always.

....Its just as simple to get the visa when you get there.
I think most folks who have done that before would agree.
Although having said that, a Multiple-Entry Visa allowing 59 day stays throughout the visa validity can only be secured
here in UK
Also, when you're planning a wedding with so many 'ducks to get lined up' there's much to be said about forward planning and ticking as many boxes as possible beforehand
There are already a number of 'banana skins' inherrent in the systems and just waiting for you in the Paradise Islands.
We're all different in our thinking.
Unless there are good reasons I personally prefer to get my 59 days here in UK.

Thank you guys. It seems that is doesnt make any difference that its not in London, as many people will have notarzied forms from different parts of the country.
Thank you again.
