UK Border Agency 'not good enough' and being scrapped

Not before time

The faceless bureaucrats running this farce should be banned from any future public sector employment. No doubt though they will be quietly shoehorned into other grossly overpaid civil service roles

It's a brave move by her.

Lets hope that the ministers now in the front line for operational responsibility are up to the job.

It's got to be a good move, in my opinion

About 5 years ago Labour split it up as it had failed.... now it has failed again they are moving it back to where it was before ... so it can fail again!! :Erm:

When will they realise it has nothing to do which agency it comes under, it is all down to getting someone who can manage the place efficiently. The previous muppet who failed got promoted!!! :doh
