police clearence uk dbs ?
although i have been reading on other threads there are just a couple of things i would like to ask, if anyone can clear it up a little,
heres what i know,
takes up to 14 days after applying,
(A) 1 x photo copy of (either of these) passport/driving licence/or doccument or letter showing national ins no/
provide also,
(B) 1 x photo copy of (either of these utility bills) gas/electric/or telefone bill,
(questions from above) do you think computer scans will sufice or do they have to be photo copies ?

so heres what im not sure about,
question, is the uk police clearance valid for 6 months correct ?
also on the same link thread ,#10 it is said to forward to phil embassy uk for legalisation, then later on #32 i read to take it that sending to phil embassy was a mistake and that instead should be sent to

it says under What documents do you want legalised,
Your Disclosure Scotland document can only be legalised if it has been either:
signed by an official from the issuing authority
certified
does this mean i have to do this before i send it for legalisation or is this what they do while legalising my document, ?
im confused,
im just trying to be as clear as i can in preparation knowing that when im ready i will have very little time to get things right,
