Mine had run out for over a year, but I got round to updating it before I left the Uk, but it took months to be returned. :doh

I try not to worry, have British, Philippines, Oman and Florida State driving license. If one expires, will just use the other :-)

I still have a paper one renewed in 1992 when i last moved house! I wonder who holds the oldest paper licence?

I did mine last year. I can't remember what made me do it though because it's hidden away and hardly used. Maybe someone put out a thread like this on another forum. :Erm:

I didn't change my old address for ages on my DL. About ten years it took before I finally did it. :icon_lol:

I have a Photo Driving Licence.
Last time I renewed it I did it all online.
I remember I was able to do that as my passport was less than 5 years old.
They took my signature from the record of my previous application, not sure now what the passport connection what. But I remember thinking what a great service that was.
