Im getting married in Cebu in may and now preparing everything i need for the spouse visa. I realise that a TB test certificate is required. Looking at th UK Border agency website they only have one centre that is approved which is in Manila. Does any one know if there is a approved centre in Cebu.
Also for the english test can anyone advise where in cebu this can be taken.
Many thanks Russ
would like to upload photo of me and my fiance but cant see how to

Hi there. My wife has also just taken the TB test and unfortunately she had to go all the way to Manila as that is the only approved centre at the moment.Regarding the English test go to www.hopkins.ph and there you can book a test in Cebu.there is also www.britishcouncil.org/philippines which also do tests in Cebu.they are a bit more expensive than Hopkins and I was told it was a bit more difficult to pass but they are the best.
Good luck:xxgrinning--00xx3:

If I were you id also book a premium appointment at the VFS which cots 2000 pesos as we just did.
My wife told me there were some applicants there waiting for over 3 hours In queues etc.
I don't know if this is regular or if its just a busy time of year but :censored: waiting for that amount of time!
oh and by the way for the TB test people were saying we would have to wait 'til the next day to get the certificate but we got it after 10 minutes of testing and although its better to make an appointment,we arrived a day early and walked off the street and got it done there and then.

We booked an appointment with TB centre in Manila for 1st July so at least we know there will be no waiting around. Allowed 5 hours from test to catching flight back to CDO :)

Might be pushing it there John. Depends if you need the test result on the same day it could take more than 5 hours to get the result. Good luck.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

John - we were there approximately 3 hours. I am not sure whether this an average amount of time for the process or not, so as Andy says 5 hours may be cutting it a little fine, however Ninoy Aquino is not too far away. Your fiancee (?) is from CDO. Seems like we have a CDO thing happening on this thread, my wife is also from CDO
