not sure where to post this.

under the immigration rules---is there any way a person can come here to form a partnership without getting married? i dont mean a same-sex civil partnership---but a male/female partnership where marriage is not an option. after all--how many UK couples live together without getting married?---but are treated as such by most rules and regs.

As I understand it, you have to have been living together (in the Phils) for at least 2 years. What we traditionally call a 'common law marriage', and proof needed.
