Hello aug06.. Me & my partner got married this 2007 of Jan. We applied for my extension visa the following month after the wed. We just provided the embassy in Croydon all the documents they needed esp the proof of our marriage. To get more info. Always check the UK embassy's website to get updated about the latest requirements. I also suggest that you guys come early in the morning. You have to get an appointment from the embassy to lessen the waiting time when you get there. It was just so quick. After paying all the necessary stuffs, we waited for a few min and was called and directed to the person who will handle our papers. We were told to come back after lunch or after an hour. In short after just a quick meal voila! (the FLR was ready). I was never interviewed so I hope you guys won't need that too as well. So keep as posted and wish that you'll be successful t0o.

It's not necessary to apply for FLR in person, of course... It may be quicker, but more expensive...

If you do a search for FLR, you'll find this has been covered in several threads, such as this one (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php?t=855&highlight=flr+step).
