hi guys how you all doing? ,:Wave: i need your :Help1: for my best friend in the Philippines. Her name is Jessica. She is a registered nurse. She is planning to work here in the uk. I told her a caregiver (care assistant) might be a good way to start am i right? :Erm:. do you guys know any agency that might help her land a job here? she is now processing her passport and starting to gather her papers. i hope somebody will answer.

It's impossible for her to get a carer job in the UK, unless she's already here. She would have a hard time getting a working visa. Search through the forum regarding working visa for nurses/carers and also go to UKBA website and read on the process of getting a working visa.

I thought there was an angle once where nurses could get in as student carers and then do some sort of conversion course. Might be worth having a word with some residential homes in your area.
