OK heres the story :-
First visa application refused due to the following reasons
1) She didnt fill in the question about her monthly income
2) She hadnt paid her buissness taxes for 2 yrs ( she owns a hair salon)
3) She hadnt told The Visa officers how her children would be supported while she would be away , or who would manage her salon
4) They said for a 6 month visit my finances were insufficient to support her ( i sent bank statements showing around £1400 in saving ( but i withheld my other bank statements showing a further £1800) ( my error there i know :NoNo:)

So on re-application we decided to give all the info required and only ask for a 6 week Visa.
Now here is the crunch . . . .
She was granted without an interview a 6 MONTH VISA
Now im not sure what we should do , should we stick to the asked for 6 weeks , then Rosa go back and return a few weeks/month later , OR can she now stay for the duration of the visa ???
If she stays over the asked for 6 weeks , would it now affect any subsiquient applications ??
If anyone has any useful advice i would be grateful

If you got six months your ok for six months stay i think its the standard time given for most.

Deejay,

"Now im not sure what we should do , should we stick to the asked for 6 weeks , then Rosa go back and return a few weeks/month later , OR can she now stay for the duration of the visa ???"

I presume that that six months visa is a multiple entry, and so you can choose whichever you decide as long as she dont over stay.

If she stays over the asked for 6 weeks , would it now affect any subsiquient applications ??

Yes, it does affect your subsequent application. Depending on what kind of visa you will be applying again. If she overstay to the original 6 weeks but not over six months it will benefit should you apply for a fiancee visa the next time..because you can use that as one of the evidences of relationship. :)
